A Multilingual System That Relies On Questioning Rather Than Memorisation

As well as the curriculum set by the Ministry of Education, a program that stems from research and questioning is utilised. This program gives the students the opportunity to research and examine the important and necessary information rather than focusing on memorising and ranking.  In addition, an environment is formed in which students and teachers have the opportunity to question, and this allows students to effectively use additional languages as well as their native tongue with the aim of raising international students.

Students who have completed 4th grade can comply to the rules of listening, reading, speaking and writing; can understand what they have listened to and read; can express themselves verbally and in writing and can also effectively comprehend visuals as well as listen, read and write with various methods and techniques.

In addition to these areas, students know grammar rules, read and examine books with different genres.

Students gain fundamental mathematical abilities such as communication, problem solving, reasoning and generalisation, and use research, guessing, discovery and contrasting in order to develop these abilities.

Students develop analytical skills in the numeric field, can comprehend 2 and 3 dimensional concepts, have the ability of visual perception and creativity as well as the respect and understanding of mathematics as an everyday concept which makes life easier.

Socially, students can understand individual differences; can relate the concepts of thoughts and feelings; identify the aspects and historical changes of our culture; understand the role of Ataturk with relation to the Battle of Canakkale and the Turkish War of Independence; can identify the natural and also human-made concepts; can understand their own individual necessities and know their rights as consumers, learn about different occupations in the society, reason and question the effects of technology on our society, identify official- civil-society institutions as well as local management units and contrast their culture with various other cultures.

Scientifically, can identify the living-organisms in our World and comprehend the living-conditions and characteristics of these organisms as well as the formation of technology and its advantages in various fields.
